Our Founder
My name is Esmeralda Santiago
My journey in caregiving began as a certified nursing assistant working closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, where I learned the importance of patience, advocacy, and personalized care. I later worked in various nursing homes and caregiving agencies, gaining valuable experience and insight into the challenges of institutional care. Through this work, I clearly saw how powerful and meaningful it is for individuals to remain in the comfort of their own homes while receiving compassionate, one-on-one support. This experience inspired the creation of Angelic Caregiving-a Latina-owned agency rooted in dignity, trust, and caring for others as if they were family.
